Accepted the Offer

I just accepted the offer from UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences!!!

I've had the letter since the 24th of Feb but I just accepted the offer. Wow. It felt weird to email them my response. It felt weird to think that the next four years of my life will be in SD, which is far, far, far away from home where my mom & family, Mr. Lovely, my lovable friends in SJ, SJSU's professors and campus, and sadly my comfort zone. I am quite excited to be out and about, but also I am so nervous that my gut is just...swirling in circles (for lack of a better description).

This is such a surreal feeling. Everything that I have worked so hard for has paid off. It's my dream come true! But what is my next dream? To work hard at UCSD and get a residency at a respecful school. Wow. This is amazing........Eventually, my dream will be to get married and have children, but when will that be? Certainly not now, but when I get there, it's going to be surreal again. Completely and utterly surreal. As for now, I have cold feet. I am weaksauce. I am so excited that I am numbed and afraid. But, I'm going to let it go because ultimately, I'm here for a reason and I won't find out what the reason is if I'm afraid ..if that made any sense... Anyways, recap to self: I've accepted my offer. CRAZY! but SD, HERE I COME!
