I'm Back!
Wahha, last week, by far, was the busiest week of J's life. She had three midterms, attended a conference in Stanford, stayed for another long, but entertaining premed meeting, visited a sick little boy twice and was somehow able to not catch the deadly cold virus, and almost came to tears while she studied for math. She did other things too, but she can't seem to remember anything anymore. It's a whoosh over the head kind of thing. She wants to say thanks to Eiffie for the nice poem that she received on Tuesday night, the container of turkey MEAT from Spencer, the surprise visit from Byefun (he brought me enchiladas!!!!), and uh...oh, the intensive math help from Andrew. Praise the Lord, the midterms are over, but now she must await for the results. Dum, dum..de d um.
Anyhow..in my polisci class, I'm the only asian out a group of six girls. I feel inferior when I speak. heh heh, and our presentation topic is bilingual education. I'm also the 2nd to youngest in our group..but truly, what i've been learning from them is that...eh, well they all have different majors. One's major is modern dance, another is mathematics, another is leisure studies (i tihnk, she gets to take whatever classes she wants), another is history, another is biology... I just find it interesting to hear everyone talk about nonschool related stuffers. One was telling me about how she works at a lonely makeup counter at Macy's and about her artsy drawing class that shes taking. In the beginning of the smester, she had to be able to draw a naked woman with a sad face in about 10 mins, and as the semester has progressed on, now she has to be able to draw the lady in 5mins. It's so interesting! Gee, once the makeup girl and the dancer girl had a conversation. They were taling about jazz dance. Reb (bio major) and I just sat there in awe. All we could show off was uh, our beakers and test tubes accidents. hah. I love GE's, even tho I somehow always manage to find the hardest professors. I always have to study my butt off for everything, there are no easy A's this semester. But yeah, my participation points are slowly dissicipating because I'm shy. "If you're shy, get over it!" Easily said than done. Sigh, but yeah, I encourage you to pick an argument with me. I mean, I'm sure it'll be fun when I start turning red or sweat like heck.
Bum be bum..
Yeah, I got my . earlier today. It's amazing! Well, not really, but usually, okay girls, agree with me here, don't you guys get really bad intuitions? Usually you think you got it, so you go to the bathroom to check, but no, it was just an imagination. Today, I thought I got it, so I went to the bathroom and checked, and I did get it! yeah, I don't know why I'm so excited, because I was in pain for the longest time. Ochem was just not fun today. I couldn't breathe very well during class and I could't walk to class upright and confidently. Anyhow, I just had dinner, a bigger dinner than usual. Yet, every now and then, I still open my fridge and stand tippie toe to look for somethinng that could be hiding away from me. Sigh, I keep finding nothing. NOTHING!
My dirty habit is coming back to me again. I take many showers a day. My ears somehow block out my dad's scary knockings/banging (whew!) into pitch silence, which then cause me to just drown my thoughts and fears for many many minutes a day. I'm beginning to take two-three showers a day again. I dunno, it's a stress-relief. Plus, in this wicked cold weather, taking showers just helps warm up my frail body and bones. Oh, the thoughts and the analogies that I make up in the showers are unusually therapeutic. Yano?... Mmmmmmmm, the alleviating power of showerssssssssss..!
So...what should I write about next...hmmm..ohh, my mom's home! Maybe she'll have more food..!
