Know what love is?

Love is when you know your daughter might fall asleep on her way to school, so you wake up early and make her coffee (and buy her random energy pills that seem to also work for alternative options). Love is when you know your daughter will probably ignore the lawn of ice on her windows and dangerously drive to school because she'd rather eat ice cream than scrap her windows, so you dress up in 5 layers and a beanie on chilly mornings to do that for her. Love is when you find your daugther's keys and wallet underneath a load of mails and move them to the glass table next to the door so she won't go crazy in the mornings searching for them. Love is when you turn on the heater to your dauther's beds when she isn't even home and ready to sleep yet. Love is when you quietly hide Diet Cherry Coke behind the trashcan or oreos and candies in the corner of a cabinet because you know your daugther gets thrilled each time she finds "treasures." Love is when you buy extra roast beef to make two sandwiches each day becauseyou know your daugther might give one sandwich away to a homeless guy when she drives to school each morning. Love is when you you write little notes at random places so your daugther remembers to do certain things or else she'd get scolded again. Love is when you kiss your daugther good night on her forehead when she's already asleep.
